Privacy Notice
This notice describes what information Quire collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Scope
The Quire is a private, invite-only business application. It is not directed to members of the general public, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone other than the authorized professional users who hold an account, plus the employer-client information those users enter as part of their work product.
Information collected from authenticated users
- Account information: work email address and password (hashed) used to sign in.
- Session data: a short-lived authentication token kept in browser session storage and removed when the browser tab is closed.
- User-entered work data: the plan information, carrier names, contribution amounts, logos, and similar inputs that users enter to build comparisons and booklets. This data is stored on behalf of the user as part of the service.
Information not collected
- No web analytics or behavioral tracking is performed on visitors. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no third-party advertising tag.
- No marketing cookies. The only cookies/storage used are the authentication session token and the user's own saved work-product drafts on their device.
- The site does not sell personal information.
- The site does not serve advertisements.
How information is used
Information is used solely to authenticate the user, render the user's own work product back to them, persist their drafts so they can resume later, and generate the Excel and PDF deliverables they request. It is not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising.
Where data is stored
Application data is stored in a managed Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security policies that scope access to the authenticated user. Generated PDFs may be temporarily stored in a Supabase Storage bucket to support download. All connections use TLS.
Third-party services
The site loads JavaScript libraries from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs) so the application can run in the browser. Optional features may fetch carrier logo imagery from public sources (e.g., Clearbit) and stock photography from public sources (e.g., Unsplash). These services receive standard HTTP request metadata but no Quire account information.
Children's privacy
The Quire is a business tool not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16.
Data retention and deletion
Authorized users may delete their own drafts and saved projects from within the application. To request deletion of an account or to request a copy of the data stored under your account, email the contact below.
